Hello, I'm Toan

Toan Luong (ToanLB)

I started my journey with a degree in Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering, transitioned into game development as a Unity Developer, and am currently continuing my software engineering journey in the HMI Automotive domain. toanlb.dev is where I document what I learn, experiment with, and reflect upon throughout my engineering career.

I share bite-sized game development stories and interview insights on TikTok Toàn Là(m) Game. This blog is where I go deeper: breaking down system architecture, providing verified C# code demos, and comparing architectural trade-offs.

What will you find here?

I want to move past superficial questions like “How do I just get this to run?”. Instead, I prefer exploring: Why choose this approach? Where does it shine, and what are the verified results?

How do I create content?

Not every topic here is something I have solved thousands of times. Some articles stem from real-world production battles, while others are the result of deep research, architectural prototyping, and experimentation.

I utilize AI tools to assist in researching, structuring ideas, and drafting. Afterwards, I rigorously review every paragraph, cross-reference official documentation, and take full ownership of what gets published. All code samples and benchmarks are tested and validated.

I clearly differentiate between: what has been proven in production, what was tested in a demo sandbox, and what is synthesized from documentation. If you spot any inaccuracies, corrections will be updated promptly.

I always welcome feedback and discussions from fellow developers. My goal is simple: to share knowledge, explore engineering challenges, and connect with people.
